Life is beautiful and tragic all at the same time.

I don’t own khakis or a polo shirt.

As I continued my walk I started to think about my life with God.

Thanks to a priest, a doctor, and my toddler the Spirit has helped me see how the smallest and most ordinary things can be used by God to help and form us more into his image.

To the untrained ear, jazz can sound very chaotic. It seems like the musicians are doing whatever they want whenever they want. But the reality is that true jazz musicians know exactly what they are doing.

O almighty God, merciful Father, I, a poor, miserable sinner.

As a Christian and as a preacher I feel like I should be saying this is all a reminder that this place isn’t our true home. That heaven is our true home. But that isn’t true.
