I don’t think Jesus’ last week on earth felt particularly holy either.

If you haven’t been able to tell from my previous posts, I am a creature of habit.

I am not keeping tabs on the latest worship trends or latest worship hits. I tend to be cynical towards a lot of things that fly under the banner of “Christian” but I am honestly not being cynical here.

The fact that I laid in a bed for 8 hours completely unconscious and woke up intact blows my mind!

If I am being honest, I don’t know what to do with this reality. If I sit and think about it too long, I begin to feel guilty and overwhelmed.

As my friend and I were talking through this idea I noticed a guy walk into the coffee shop. I doubt anyone else knew who this guy was but I did.

Death is coming.

Nothing here is Instagram-worthy, except for that Gen Z girl’s $6 latte that she is taking multiple pictures of.

The phrase “canceled due to inclement weather” was not in my vocabulary.

Jesus takes too many naps.

We all hate but statements.

Go. Stop. Go. Stop.

Well, God which one is it?

If I am honest I have to admit that the service was the most ordinary, simple, and slightly boring worship experience I have had in a long time… and you know what?

May we look to God with expectation but without an agenda.

I am actually grateful that it took this long.

I live with a drunken three-foot caveman.

Lukewarm tap water and the Word of God.
